No one who catches a muskie after his or her 17th birthday is eligible or qualified for a junior award. The catch will be considered for other awards. If the catch was by a junior angler, please mark the junior division box on the catch report application form. FOR ALL APPLICANTS: CATCH REPORT FORM- Applicants must register their catch during the year in which the qualifying fish was taken. As you can see the information you write in on the fish report form is not only very important to the Division for their information but also very important to your club banquet awards. Fish that are not reported by Dec. 31st of each year are disqualified for recognition by the Ohio Huskie Muskie Club for awards. The written information however is important to the Division of Wildlife so do not neglect to turn them in regardless. A tagged muskie for example, the number on that tag if recorded by the angler on the catch report form is important. The catch reports are used by the division for managment purposes. Honesty is always the best policy. Giving false information on your catch report form to the division will lead to false information compiled by the division and will do serious harm to the program. OHIO HUSKIE MUSKIE CLUB MEMBERS RECOGNITION AND DUES-All members who are current paid or free members qualify to get their recognition through Trophies, plaques, Jacket Awards, and annual Certificates for outstanding catches and achievements. Qualified anglers who catch and register their muskellunge catches during the season by sending the catch reports in to the Division of Wildlife will receive their certificates and all awards at the next annual March banquet. Those qualified members not attending the banquet will receive their awards by mail. Those anglers who catch their FIRST Huskie Muskie will receive a free banquet dinner for that achievement. The annual dues are $15.00 per individual or $25.00 for a family membership a year. Family membership is considered husband/wife and all children 16 years of age and under. Once a child reaches the age of 17 he or she must change to an individual membership. Dues are usually paid each year by the March Banquet date.
